Michelle Beyer, MBACP
Michelle is a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and offers counselling to couples and individuals. She is also trained in coaching and has a particular interest in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).
This is a second career for Michelle who is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in Law. She started her career in KPMG, Dublin followed by many years in the financial services sector. She then took time out to raise a family and as they grew older she retrained as a therapist and life coach. She is married and lives with her husband, three teenage sons and dog Roxy.
Michelle launched Bucks Counselling and Coaching in order to provide a local service for people struggling with relationship and communication issues or with life in general. She has been involved in the sector since 2014 and works both with Relate, and in a secondary school with young people.
Helping people overcome life’s difficulties and challenges is a passionate interest and she has extensive training in many different disciplines including psychodynamic, systemic and Transactional Analysis. She’s also very interested in, and has completed training in related disciplines such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Coaching.
